GENERAL CONDITIONS

ARTICLE 1°: THE TRAINING COURSES:

1 = EXTENSIVE INITIATION COURSE: 32 HEURES
2 = EXTENSIVE FURTHER TRAINING COURSE: 50 HEURES
3 = EXTENSIVE MADE-TO-MEASURE TRAINING COURSE
4 = INTENSIVE INITIATION TRAINING COURSE: 32 HEURES
5 = INTENSIVE FURTHER TRAINING COURSE 1: 60 HEURES
6 = INTENSIVE FURTHER TRAINING COURSE 2: 90 HEURES
7 = INTENSIVE FURTHER TRAINING COURSE 3: 120 HEURES
8 = INTENSIVE FURTHER TRAINING COURSE 4: 150 HEURES
9 = INTENSIVE MADE-TO-MEASURE FURTHER TRAINING COURSE:
10 = PRIVATE LESSONS
11 = CONVERSATION
12 = PRIVATE TUTORING
13 = V.G.C.

DATES OF COURSES:

In general, especially for extensive training courses, the students and the companies may choose their own timetable, to fit in with our schedules.
In return, when the dates are chosen, they can not be changed.
The lessons are foreseen for the entire course or for the month if they are one-to-one lessons.

PLACE:

All our courses can be taken at the centre, at the workplace or at home, in France or in any country.

ARTICLE 2° : METHODOLOGY:

Our lessons always adhere to a methodology, pedagogy and psychology special to the language school C.L.I.P.
The lessons, exercises, written and oral tests and translations, are a result of 20 years of experience.


ARTICLE 3º: ONE-TO-ONE LESSONS:

Students and companies that have chosen private lessons may choose their own timetable to fit in with our schedules.
The tutor will then create a personalized programme in relation with the student’s level and objectives.


ARTICLE 4°: GROUPS:

It is not necessary to have any knowledge of the foreign language to start one of our courses. For this reason, beginners are accepted.
Groups can be made-up of employees of companies and private individuals.
A group is made up of 5 students maximum.
Only at a company's request can larger groups be accepted.


ARTICLE 5°: FINANCIAL ARRANGMENT:

- Classes in groups:

A 30% deposit is required at time of booking.
Bookings may be cancelled by registered mail within 10 days after making the reservation.
If this period of retraction is exceeded, the 30% down payment will be retained and no refund will be made.
The balance should be paid at the first lesson and no refunds well be made.
In case of an enrolment less than 10 days before the beginning of the training course, the whole fee is required.

- Private lessons:

These can be started at any time of the year.
The fees must be paid in advance at the end of the month before.
No refunds will be given, whatever the reason of the private individual or the company.


ARTICLE 6°: CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT:

All our fees can be paid by cheque, by bank transfer or in cash.


ARTICLE 7°: CANCELLATION:

If the student or the company wants to cancel the training course less than 10 days before the beginning of the classes, the 30% deposit would be lost.
If the cancellation occurs during the course, no refund will be given.
Postponement of lessons could be considered only if the student or the company gives a justified reason.


ARTICLE 8°: COMMITMENTS:

Of the company:
The company undertakes to enrol motivated people who will respect of the rules described here.

Of the students:
A / Learning a foreign language needs motivation and a personal investment; it means that the students must make the effort to revise regularly, to participate and to show an interest.
If C.L.I.P. must twice warn a student; the third warning would be synonymous of expulsion.

B / All students undertake to respect other people present in the centre, as well as their concentration and their work.

C / All students must also have to respect the premises.

Of the linguistic centre C.L.I.P.
The language school undertakes to:

- Respect the professional privacy of anything seen or heard about the company.
- Give lessons in agreement with the request and the needs of the students or the company.


ARTICLE 9°: LATENESSES and ABSENCES:

Each student must arrive on time.
Repeated latenesses would lead to a warning.
The hours of absences could be caught up only if the student or the firm had informed C.L.I.P. 48 hours in advance.

ARTICLE 10°: HYGIENE:

Personal hygiene is demanded, as well as correct behaviour (not sit on the tables, not put feet on the chairs…) and correct dress sense.


ARTICLE 11°: BANNINGS:

Forbidden inside the school:
- The use of mobile phones as well as the recharging of their batteries.
- The consumption of alcohol, tobacco or drugs (which are synonymous of immediate expulsion) - The chewing of gums.


ARTICLE 12°: EXPULSIONS:

 C.L.I.P. reserves the right to expelling any person whose behaviour perturbs the unfolding of the training course, who is often absent, with no excuses, or who does not respect the articles 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the present agreement (in spite of the two warnings that would have been given.)
Any behaviour that became inadmissible would lead to immediate expulsion.


ARTICLE 13°: REMINDERS:

Oral and written tests, enrolment costs, file management, reports and certificates are free of charge.


ARTICLE 14°: END OF COURSE:

Reports can be given on request.
The student can be given a certificate on request.
The company is entitled to receive the employees’ attendance form.


ARTICLE 15°: DIFFERENCES OF OPINION:

Regarding a disagreement between C.L.I.P. and the client; if the affair cannot be settled between the parties on a friendly basis, it will be referred to the DAX tribunal, as sole competent, for settlement.
